Street Lights will Be Installed on 146 Streets

North Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department recorded that at least 146 streets that spread in 6 sub-districts in North Jakarta is very minimal lighting, especially at night.

Street light installation is still waiting for the 2015 City Budget (APBD). After the budget is disbursed, we will do it soon

According to Chairil Anwar, Head of North Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-Department, his sub-department has inventoried the citizens' proposal about the lack of lighting. Hence, the street light installation plus its pole will be done in the near future. 

"Besides dark, the crime and juvenile delinquency are also rampant in their residential," he stated, Monday (3/16). 

13,201 Street Lights in N. Jakarta Turned Off Due to Flood

Those 146 streets are located in some sub-districts, as follow:

1. Penjaringan Sub-District 

- Jalan Pluit Karang Indah, Jalan Tery Raya, Pluit Karang Permai VII, VII and IX

2. Pademangan Sub-District 

- Jalan Ancol 3, Jalan Pademangan VIII and Jalan Lodan 

3. Tanjung Priok Sub-District

- Jalan Sunter Muara 1, Jalan Sunter Muara Barat, Jalan Bahari V, Jalan Bentengan Mas I, Jalan Genggeng I and Jalan Gadang Terusan

4. Kelapa Gading Sub-District 

- Jalan Teluk Ratai Raya, Jalan Sentosa Raya, Jalan Cengkir Raya, Jalan Gading Putih Raya, and Jalan Kelapa Kopyor III

5. Koja Sub-District

- Jalan Cibadak Raya, Jalan B Raya, Jalan Lontar 4, Jalan Teratai 1 and Jalan Matahari 

6. Cilincing Sub-District

- Jalan Pancong, Jalan Ananta Raya, Darma Raya, Jalan Peralihan, Jalan Marunda Baru, and Jalan Gati Raya 

"Street light installation is still waiting for the 2015 City Budget (APBD). After the budget is disbursed, we will do it soon," he disclosed.
